The story of your life in 250 words or less

I've been thinking on this one all day, how does one sum up a life in 250 words or less?  I'm daunted.  I waiver between thinking my life cannot possible be condensed down to that and being convinced that my life is not interesting enough for 250 words.   So here goes:

My life is a lucky whirlwind.

I was born on the east coast, to lovely parents who are, luckily, still alive and well in my childhood home.  Growing up was uneventful and easy.  Not a whole lot of drama there that I don’t look back on and realize I created for myself.  Teenagers!

College enabled me to move from my hometown and I haven't looked back since (well maybe a little, thank you FB!).   I had visions of being a great...something.  I knew what I liked to do but I was not sure how I was going to make a living at it without taking all of the joy out of it.

While in college, studying Photography, I met my fantastic husband, who up until we had our children was, the single best thing that ever happened to me. Hopelessly in love, we moved 2000 miles away and settled for a time in the mountains of the southwest, where both of our amazing daughters were born.   Promptly after our youngest was born we moved north to ID, we didn’t like it so we moved back for a bit.  And then we moved, again, further into the Southwest for a spell.  We have settled in the Rocky Mountains and I love it.  Each time we moved (ten times in twelve years)I learned a little bit more about myself and how to appreciate what I have.   I am lucky to be living the life I live here in the Rockies.  Even if it’s snowing on the first of May!
I love being my husband’s partner, and my children’s mother.  Both roles have, and will continue to teach me more about myself than I would ever care to know!  I may not be the best at either, but I am pretty great at trying.

Blog Everyday in May : A Challenge (accepted)

I stumbled onto this lovely blog, Story of My Life this morning.  She's challenging the blog-o'sphere to 'Blog Everyday in May'.  So without warming I am going to jump in.  We'll see how it goes.
Here are the month's 30 writing prompts:

Day 1, Wednesday: The story of your life in 250 words or less (or one paragraph... no one will be counting your words... probably)

Day 2, Thursday: Educate us on something you know alot about or are good at. Take any approach you'd like (serious and educational or funny and sarcastic)

Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable

Day 4, Saturday: Favorite quote (from a person, from a book, etc) and why you love it

Day 5, Sunday: Publicly profess your love and devotion for one of your blogger friends. What makes them great? Why do you love them? If you don't have blogger friends, talk about a real-life friend or even a family member

Day 6, Monday: If you couldn't answer with your job, how would you answer the question, 'what do you do'?

Day 7, Tuesday: The thing(s) you're most afraid of

Day 8, Wednesday: A piece of advice you have for others. Anything at all.

Day 9, Thursday: A moment in your day (this can be just a photo or both a photo and words)

Day 21, Tuesday: A list of links to your favorite posts in your archives

Day 23, Thursday: Things you've learned that school won't teach you

Day 24, Friday: Your top 3 worst traits

Day 25, Saturday: Something someone told you about yourself that you'll never forget (good or bad)

Whoo, that's a little daunting to see.

Resurrection underway...

So what do you say, furtherofftrack, want to start this up again?  I've monkeyed with some cosmetic issues and now comes the hard work of filling the pages with words.  You up for it?
